Julio El Akl
Founder / Master Coach

The Four Seasons Tennis School founder, Julio El Akl is a Master Professional Level 3 qualified tennis coach, former tour player and is President of the Australian Tennis Professional Coaches Association Ltd (ATPCA).  He has been been appraised as a coaching presenter at the highest level by Tennis Australia and has mentored over 1,200 tennis coaches throughout Australia and around the world for a decade.  He brings an in-depth knowledge garnered over 15 years during sojourns in the US, Middle East and Australia. 

Julio set up Four Seasons Tennis School 10 years ago and works with students on the fusion of the psycholo-gical,  mental and strategic elements of match play.
 
Head Coach

is a Master Professional Level 3 qualified tennis coach.  He has been coaching at Four Seasons Tennis School for over 7 years and has been the school's Head Coach for the past 5 years.  has played several junior competitions in the local area and now focuses on developing our school's Junior Development Program through the teenage squad system.

works well with all ages and demands energy and commitment from all his group students.  But he also provides a high level of expertise as a coach of private students.  He is Co-Director of the school.

Tony Strachan
General Manager / Coach

Tony has coached at Four Seasons Tennis School for the past 8 years. He is a Level 2 qualified Tennis Coach and has a range of teaching experiences with juniors and adults of all ages, with his previous experience as a high school teacher and through his work with the Deaf community.

With 50 years of playing the great game of tennis he has his own set of practical and insightful hints to offer the wide range of players whom he meets at Marrickville and other centres. Tony is Co-Director of Four Seasons Tennis School.

  Milovan Maksimovic
Coach

Milovan started playing at 10 in the under 18s and in his teens won the the Shell Open Series and Singleton Grass tournaments as well as several others over the years.  This put him in the top 25 within Australia and he continued to compete in satellite and associated events both down under and overseas.  He qualified for the Australian Open Junior qualifiers, a very memorable and instructive experience.

For the past 4 years he has coached tennis in Serbia and has now been working for FSTS for most of 2011.  He combines his wide experience as a competitor with a very genial personality and perceptive eye.  Students love his coaching approach.

  Zain Rahmat
Coach

Zain is a Master Professional Level 3 qualified tennis coach and was ranked in the top 50 players as a junior in Australia. He competed in the satellite and Future Event tour for some years and still competes in club competitions in Sydney and beyond.

Zain specialises in coaching our school's advanced adults in the private coaching program. His playing experience over the years as a top junior and A-grade adult player gives him a great depth of understanding of technique, strategy and pressure situations, which he imparts eloquently to his students. He is renowned for his calm personality and understanding manner.

Aymeric Petit
Coach

Aymeric first started playing at 5 years of age when his father handed him a wooden racquet. He played at the Junior level in France for several years, later training to become an Advanced coach in France and beyond. He is a Master Professional Level 3 qualified tennis coach through the ATPCA in Australia.

Aymeric moved to Shanghai in China in recent times where he stayed and coached the expatriate community for four years. Aymeric has been with the school since mid 2009, and works mainly with advanced adult players.  He is much in demand at FSTS and brings insight and a succinct quality to his coaching.



 
David Ha
Coach

With several years as a junior competitor in tournaments round Australia, David has an acute understanding of the psychological and tactical elements which can improve young players today.  He works in the FSTS junior program, coaching beginners and intermediate players, who warm to him.

In keeping with his career as a high school teacher, David combines a dynamic personality with a high energy style of coaching, while using inventive tennis drills to hold his students’ attention.




Jill Rigby
Coach

Jill started hitting balls with inate ability at the age of 10.  She soon took to a regular squad regimen and competition followed soon after with many tournaments and improving ranking.  She won the South Coast Open as a junior.

Between 1992-95 Jill represented NSW in state tennis.
In 1996 she qualified for the Under 18 National Team.

She parlayed her experience as a competitor to train as a coach and now combines this with her empathic qualities to coach children for FSTS.  She is a Qualified Level 1 coach with ATPCA.
  Troy Warner
Coach

Troy has been coaching with Four Seasons since 2007. He grew up in country NSW and has been involved with tennis his whole life. He is fortunate to be able to play around the globe throughout the year and has coached regularly for many years in both Singapore and Australia.

He still enjoys playing competitive tennis at A1 level and lives by the adage that "too much tennis is barely enough". He has also completed fitness training courses and guarantees lessons with a high level of activity and regular ground stroke feedback.
